Creativity Camp

Soulfull Sounds has partnered with Ms. Cameron's Art Studio to offer students a fun and engaging Summer activities in music and art! Students will learn beginner skills in both piano and textiles in order to create across all different types of art. Students who are more advanced will be challenged. Students are encouraged to take all four classes, but seperate classes are avaialbe.

Why This Camp?

As teachers and Moms of our own kids each, we love to enter our kids in activities throughout the summer. However many classes are during the day when most Moms are still working. Also having multiple kids, both kids can be excited about art or piano and be able to try out a new skill in a no pressure zone. These classes are designed to bring a balance of learning and fun in the cool indoors this summer!

Meet the Teachers

Art Instructor

Cameron Makia

Ms. Cameron (art instructor) has completed her bachelor's at the University of Central Arkansas and went on to pursue the path of design at the Parson's School of design. After participating with her line of apparel at New York fashion week, she moved to Texas to start a family. She believes students should be able to express themselves using all types of art mediums that are related to textiles. There is more to art than just paint.

Piano Instructor

Stephanie Alley

Ms. Stephanie (piano instructor) graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's and a master's degree in music education, instrumental studies. Her blended background of teaching classes as well as being a piano teacher helps her integrate group activities into the world of piano. As a member of the Arlington Music Teacher's Association, she is connected to the community of piano teachers in the surrounding area as references. She believes learning piano should be a fun experience for all to enjoy.
